Sarah is the Founder and Owner of Amber + Oak Compliance. With her combination of expertise, collaborative problem-solving skills, and dedication to client service, Sarah is a critical resource to the Amber + Oak team and the clients she serves. She is committed to helping businesses in the alcohol beverage industry achieve their goals while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Before starting Amber + Oak, Sarah built out a compliance program at a start-up distillery in Kentucky, which was a resounding success. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the complexities of the alcohol beverage industry and the challenges that businesses face in navigating the regulatory environment.

Since the launch of Amber + Oak, Sarah has worked with a range of clients, from more start-ups to well-established businesses in the alcohol beverage industry. She works closely with each client to gain a deep understanding of their unique needs and challenges, and to develop a compliance strategy that is tailored to their specific business objectives. Sarah's approach is focused on building long-term partnerships with her clients, based on trust, transparency, and open communication.

Chief Operations Officer

Charlie is a highly experienced professional in inventory and asset management, logistics, and client service. He has a diverse professional background and has worked in various industries, including construction and the booming bourbon industry. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, Charlie has become an invaluable member of the Amber + Oak team.

At a startup distillery in Kentucky's bourbon industry, Charlie played a pivotal role in creating a shipping and receiving department, streamlining logistics and inventory processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. He understands the evolving needs of the alcohol beverage industry and enjoys helping both established and budding companies navigate their compliance requirements.

Before joining the alcohol industry, Charlie spent years in the construction field, where he gained extensive experience in project management. He learned how to work closely with clients, direct teams, and achieve common goals. Charlie takes great pride in ensuring that clients receive the most effective and direct service possible, and he is committed to providing exceptional client care at Amber + Oak.

Senior Consultant

Joining Amber & Oak as Senior Consultant, Tyler's long tenure in alcohol began in 2010, when he started working harvest and crush at a midsize winery in Slovenia. After returning to California in 2017 he joined a startup DSP, with responsibilities for formulation, production, compliance, lab services, and more. In 18 months, he led the DSP from mason jars and buckets to tankers and trailers, then moved into a freelance consulting role, helping distilleries of all sizes with every aspect of production, operations, and compliance. 

Tyler brings a wealth of experience unmatched in the industry. His strengths include federal regulatory compliance and distillery operations. Tyler has performed on-site audits of rum distilleries and alcohol plants producing millions of proof gallons per month.

Tyler takes pride in his ability to find a legal pathway to "yes, we can do that". Think of him as your fractional compliance officer.
